No child should ride this stirrup if they can step their foot through the stirrup. If they’re that small you can get them bigger boots, or tapaderos, but they really shouldn’t be an arms reach from an adult at any time when they’re that small. It’s a versatile stirrup allowing the rider safety for disciplines ranging from pleasure to all youth competitions. 60 lb.s or more.
